Fishing
For the Fisherman there is a five acre coarse fishing lake, fully stocked with mature carp up to 25lbs and tench to 7lbs. The lake has been naturally landscaped by the planting of many trees and shrubs.
The fishing is open all the year round. Facilities for fishermen are available in our Norwegian Spruce Lakeside Lodge. These include a toilet/ showers, small kitchen area with kettle and refrigerator and laundry facilities, these are also available to on site visitors. There is easy access to this chalet for wheelchairs and we have a hard-standing position for wheelchair fishermen on the lakeside with a suitable pathway. Fishing at the lake is for members of the Syndicate (application forms are available), or for holiday guests purchasing a day ticket.
Avalanche Adventure
Avalanche Adventure is our exciting activity centre which is based on the farm, 10 minutes walk from the holiday site. It offers a broad range of outdoor activities including 4x4 driving and tuition, Quad Bike Safari, Racing Buggies, Clay Pigeon Shooting and a host of other team building events. All safety equipment and training is provided, and we are insured for individulas of 12 years and over. We are open throughout the year, by appointment only.
