We have a variety of fun and interactive workshops for all ages and families at Brook Meadow planned for the school summer holidays in 2025.
Whether you fancy your chances entering your pet into our cute dog show, trying your hand and plein air painting or shooting some arrows we will have something for you! Have a browse of the workshops below and add them to your stay on our booking site, from our list of extras, (we will be adding more to the booking system in the coming weeks). On summer school holiday Saturdays start the day with mindful yoga, and a visit to the garden café. More activities follow for all the family to enjoy, complemented with seasonal and locally produced food and drinks. Enjoy wood-fired pizza, cinema and our camp cocktail bar.
We're also planning to close some of the days with an acoustic sunset folk music set. Head to our booking page and book your camping, glamping or lodge stay, then add activities to your booking ahead and relax knowing that your day will be full of wonderful experiences. Possibly the sweetest light hearted Dog Show you’ve ever seen!
Owners can strut their stuff in the straw bale show ring to display their dog's tricks, fine coats and personalities in the sunshine.
The wide range of categories ensures no shortage of prizes.

Hedgerow and Flower Crown / Wreath Walk and Workshop

Take a guided walk with Nicola of La Fete Fleurie and collect the foliage and wildflowers you need to create your flower crown or wreath. Watch as Nicola demonstrates each stage in the process and helps you make your own to take away.

Introducing the super talented fine artist, Sarah Darby who is offering two fabulous courses:
- a class to paint a self portrait using an egg as a guide for 5-12yrs old (accompanied by an adult)

FAQs
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES?
You can add workshops and experiences in advance of the weekend by adding them to your booking. We are currently in the process of finalising the calendar of activities but dog shows are already bookable.
