The coolest of cool, our genuine American Airstream is the 'Steve McQueen' of caravans; with a choice pitch and lakeside view sundowners can enjoy their own corner of the site close to the lake next to our three new luxury pitches. This is the perfect choice for couples looking for a special spot to spend some relaxing time together.
Located away from the main camping field, with its own shaded deck to offer privacy our adorable Silverbird Airstream 1967 Caravel is the most joyful glamping option we've created yet. Who wouldn't want to live under a rainbow?! Believe it or not the rainbow roof shines in all weathers; even on the cloudiest of days the Airstream is lit up with rainbow magic. The partially shaded and covered deck area houses an outdoor kitchen BBQ area, dining and lounging space with a hammock and lighting for summer evenings overlooking the lake. |
Whilst the Airstream Caravel is the dinkiest of airstreams it has such a clever fit out and outdoor living area. Note that whilst the bed may have lost a couple of corners due to the curves of the Airstream it is actually 20 cm longer than a king size bed!
We've added a memory foam topper so you can sleep like a dream in quality linen bedding, and connect with nature whilst enjoying the luxury you deserve. As always you can expect the handpicked furnishings and accessories to be befitting and in this case expect oodles of vintage joy. Enjoy cute doll's house-scale facilities and the retro buzz of airstream rainbowtastic illumination! |

- A fully-equipped indoor charming kitchen including sink with hot water and drinking water, fridge, hob, kettle, toaster and oven
- All the cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, and pans needed for cooking during your stay and of course for the all-important morning cup of tea or coffee
- An extra-long double bed with duvet & 2 pillows and 100% linen bed linen fitted into the curve of the airstream.
- Mini indoor dining table with upholstered bench seating
- Heating, lighting and radio
- Air max fan and fly screen to door for great natural ventilation. Please note windows do not open
- Private toilet and shower for emergencies/night time use and use of camping washroom facilities for longer showers and frequent needs.
- Semi Private -covered, semi-shaded deck with 2 sun loungers, hammock and dining area
- Outdoor kitchen with fitted BBQ, washup, dresser storage and prep area. Cold drinking water only here
- Wood burner for fire gazing on the west facing part of the deck
- Ramped access to the rear
- Joyful rainbow illumination during daylight hours
- Fairy lights and outdoor lanterns
- Parking for one vehicle
- Tea towel, cleaning cloth, scourer sponge, washing up liquid, salt and pepper, 1 toilet roll & 1 bathroom hand towel are provided
