KingFisher Lodge

Enjoy a stay in a holiday home authentically designed to sit perfectly in the breathtaking lakeside setting with botanical interiors. Each are unique in feel with heart warming welcoming interiors. 

​Sink in to a quality mattresses with Egyptian cotton bedding and cosy up with velvet cushions. You will find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area so you can enjoy home cooking or even arrange a private chef for your great escape.

Relax on your veranda with seating in your own personal outdoor space to enjoy views across the lake. 

All lodges sleep 4 people with an optional extra of a sofa bed in Woodpecker and Skylark for a further two guests.

2 of 3 lodges are pet friendly so you can even holiday in style with your pampered pooch!  All lodges are fully serviced with a weekly clean and linen change for stays over 7 nights.

Equipment
All our lodges are equipped with quality smart TVs so you can snuggle up and catch up on anything you have missed.
Each kitchen contains a fridge, freezer, oven and microwave. Woodpecker also has a dishwasher and Skylark has a dishwasher and washer/dryer. In the lounge there is a flat screen TV, DAB radio and free WiFi. ​

Activities 
Enjoy local walks, the tranquil grounds and inclusive fishing on the easterly side of the lake. Children will enjoy the organic play area and exploring den areas.  Avalanche Adventure and the gliding Centre are both sited on the farm so you can enjoy easy access to breath taking activities.

Accessibility
​All lodges have ramped access from the driveway and visitors can park directly outside the front door.  All lodges have accessible width doors, lever handles, lever taps, generous living space, visual contrast between doors and walls and floors and walls, chairs with arms. Some of our lodges have additional features such as level shower tray access, grab rail and shower seat.

Kingfisher lodge has a cabin like feel with a timber ceiling, exposed beams and cosy fireplace.  It is pet friendly so you won't have to leave your furry friends at home.  The interior is a joyful romp of colour and pattern linking with nature.  You'll find bright and cheerful decor with a decidedly grown up feel.  This exciting interior can't feel to make you feel happy and at one with nature.

Rules & Rates

• All lodges sleep 4 people in beds ​​         
• Master bedroom: Kingsize
• Twin room: 2 x single
• Living room: sofa bed to sleep 2 at additional £15/per person per night in Woodpecker and Skylark. 
• Pets charged at £10 per night per pet in Skylark & Kingfisher
• 3 nights minimum stay.
• Check in after 4pm.  (Early check in maybe possible by arrangement with small charge).
• Check out by 10am. (Late check out maybe possible by arrangement with small charge).​
• Pricing is seasonal and varies with the size of the lodge and length of stay. 

• Heating, electricity, WiFi, linen, towels and fishing pass are included.
• Fishing rules must be adhered to, which includes having your own equipment to meet good standards for the welfare of the fish and a fishing licence.  Please fish the easterly side of the lake.
• £200 booking deposit per lodge payable on booking.
• Balance due 6 weeks in advance of stay including  refundable £180 damages deposit. Long stay guests may be asked for a larger deposit to reflect the length of stay

Christmas Bookings

Delight in the magic of your own lakeside lodge, surrounding woodland and lake view to make your Christmas break a holiday to remember! 
We will provide a complimentary hamper and decorate your lodge with a wreath, snow lantern and fairy lights.  Please note we have a 7 night min stay policy over the Christmas break.
