Spark your imagination and join us fo a magical Christmas retreat at Brook Meadow, with an exclusive Christmas floristry and festive tablescaping course and an optional extra wreath making course with La Fete Fleurie combined with a 3-night lakeside lodge stay.
Arrive on the Friday 22nd to find an inclusive luxury hamper waiting for you in your accommodation. The course has 2 options, a one day course on Sunday or a 2 day course on both Saturday and Sunday, designed to suit different budgets and personal energy levels. On the Saturday 23rd from 10am - 1.00pm you can enjoy an optional day immersed in flowering; making a wreath entirely from natural materials held together only with floristry wire and pins all under the expert tuition with Nicola who will demonstrate how to create your wreath base from scratch with wire and a pile of soft moss building a structure with varied foliage before adding layers of decorative foliage, fir cones, dried flowers and rosehips. This is a unique opportunity to learn a new skill and take home a handcrafted creation. |
On the Sunday 24th from 10am - 3.30pm will be focused on festive tablescaping, involving a mix of making and demonstrations, spend time immersed in festive florals, making natural decorations of pomanders, a mini swag, and a flower bauble to take home at the end of the day. Nicola will also walk through ideas to decorate a special Christmas table with festive table settings and centerpieces, hand painted candles, natural gift wrapping, and handmade gift ideas with step-by-step instructions for recreating them at home. All materials are provided, along with a seasonal vegetarian lunch and festive refreshments, enjoyed in Nicola's beautiful oak-framed flower barn studio.

Does everyone staying in the accommodation have to attend the course?It’s flexible; you might book one or two lodges with some friends and share accommodation as much or as little as you like; eg. book a lodge for 2 but if you’d like to share with more friends you might book it for 4 and the price is adjusted a little accordingly. Alternatively book lodges with your partners and leave them behind when you go to the workshops!

Easter Creative Retreat

Combine a lodge stay with a unique Easter flowering workshop for a truly memorable experience. Workshop guests will enjoy a peaceful guided walk through the farm’s hedgerows to gather foliage for their living wreath. Using sustainably-sourced moss, you'll learn how to gently encase bulbs and spring plants, allowing them to continue growing and blooming on the wreath in the weeks ahead.

Taking place... participants will also have the opportunity to make spring-inspired table decorations to take away and enjoy a two-course seasonal lunch. All refreshments and materials needed for the day are included.
